Nothing like the last minute for a Monthly Closet Cosplay Challenge! This month the challenge was mythological with a bonus if it’s modernised. So of course I had to try to do Thor.
However, I really have nothing that even approaches a Thor costume…
But I do have this amazing cardi that flounces quite nicely if there’s a breeze (there wasn’t) and can almost be a cape. Also this fabulous pair of valkyrie leggings from Wild Bang-a-rang that I haven’t managed to wear to death yet despite my best efforts.
And of course I recently got this gorgeous “She Be Worthy” tshirt from @jordandenenyc which matches perfectly. Plus the crutch of being able to class this as modernised instead of lazy.
With those elements combined I suddenly I had a Thor outfit! I even found a hammer to stand in for Mjolnir, it’s not quite as impressive, but it definitely made me laugh!
